Acrylic vs Cotton:
With my own experience with my big slobbering furbaby here, the cotton yarn toys do absorb the excess slobber. With the Acrylic, if you are playing with a dog who slobbers, you may grab a sloppy toy at times.
I offer both types of yarn because color availability options vary between the fiber choice.
